As one of the youngest up and coming artists in Hard Dance Cut-Up has already gained the support of some of the biggest names the scene has to offer.
with regular releases locked down on the mighty Synergy Trax and forthcoming material awaiting release on one of the fastest growing Hard Dance record labels ‘HARD’ with support from Andy Whitby, Energy Syndicate, Technikal, Karlston Khaos, Audox, Digital Mafia plus many more it seems there is no stopping him.
Cut-up quickly learned the art of mixing at the young age of 13 and it wasn’t long until he got his first club booking aged 15. In 2011 his debut release and collaboration with the legendary producer Technikal rocketed straight to the #1 spot on the TrackItDown.net Hard Dance Top 100 and gained BBC Radio1 air play when featured on resident dj Kutski’s Keeping The Rave Alive show.
Cut-Up’s unique twist on the modern Hard Dance sound has gained recognition on an impressive verity of record labels such as AHR, Cheeky Tracks, Blessed Recordings, OMP Traxx, Traffic Recordings, Riot!, Technikal Recordings, Synergy Trax & HARD and with his list of chart topping releases it wasn’t long until his music featured on various compilation albums such as Hard House Heaven, In An Ideal World 2, Techtonik 2, Hard Dance Ibiza 2013, Bring It & Synergized 2.
Early 2015 Cut-Up’s talents caught the eye of the Tidy Boy’s when his Tidy 20 Weekender DJ competition entry took him to the final 5, motivating him to enter Andy Whitby’s HARD @ Sea boat party competition which he then went on to win. Since then Cut-Up has gone on to play at Alex Kidd’s well known Kiddstock festival , Blessed and even overseas in Holland.
Standing out from the crowd with the growing support from clubbers, artists, promoters and record labels it is clear that this is just the start for this aspiring young talent and it seems he is only going to get bigger over the coming years producing the freshest forward thinking sound for the harder dancefloors.
